Who is Richmond Fellowship Queensland?
Richmond Fellowship Queensland (RFQ) is a non-profit company and registered charity that has been supporting people with a mental illness since 1974. It is renowned for its quality recovery oriented services and its stable governance and management. RFQ is the most experienced provider of non-government psychiatric disability support and rehabilitation services in Queensland. We have programs operating in the Brisbane metropolitan area, Redlands, Redcliffe, Caboolture, Ipswich and Logan shires and Toowoomba and districts. While our services are presently localised to the southeast corner of the State, our residential program receives referrals from throughout Queensland and northern New South Wales.
RFQ’s programs include a number of home-based outreach services, a residential rehabilitation program, a prison transition service and a consumer partnered activity and drop-in day centre.
RFQ is part of an international family of Richmond Fellowships operating in over 30 countries. The Richmond Fellowship movement was first established in England in 1959 to provide community rehabilitation and support for people with a mental illness.
