Programs
RFQ’s programs include a number of home-based outreach services, a residential rehabilitation program, a transition support service and a consumer partnered activity and drop-in day centre.
Our Eliza Street Community & Ryan’s Place programs are the only programs that we can accept direct referrals for because of funding environments. The other programs listed here are our outreach programs and referrals are received via Disability Services Queensland or the local Mental Health Service.
In each of our programs, staff develop strong working alliances with people, providing assistance in areas such as:
- Finding hope, meaning and direction in life
- Setting and achieving personal goals
- Personal and emotional support
- Daily living and life skills
- Linking and coordinating with other agencies and resources
- Accessing the community
For example, our staff can help people to:
- set up and maintain a house or flat,
- find meaningful things to do (work/study/leisure),
- manage money and shopping,
- meet new people,
- manage mental and physical health.
We tailor our support to each person and their unique personality, needs, wishes and way of going about things. RFQ staff are skilled at assisting people to develop a Personal Recovery Plan that identifies each person’s needs, vision for recovery and the meaningful personal goals and activities they wish to pursue with RFQ support.
